I must admit that I do have a sweet tooth. But of course my goal is to nourish my body with smart ingredients. These green energy bites are loaded with healthy fats, minerals and protein, gluten-free as most of my recipes, and one of the sweet treats my clients mostly love. Just have two or three as a snack – you will feel saturated and satisfied and the hunger for refined sugar will automatically decrease.

This chickpea recipe is simply delicious and very easy to prepare. The spicy note in it is definitely oriental and what I have learned from an Indian friend is that in India people tend to eat these chickpeas from the hand as a starter to prepare the digestive system. Or to say it in ayurvedic language ‘to activate the agni’, the digestive fire. Just eat a handful before lunch or dinner and enjoy with all your senses.

Kale Krunch is something I discovered for me during my time in the USA. I remember myself stopping at Whole Foods Market several times a week, spending a fortune on the crispy green leaves until I decided to create my own version of healthy kale chips – which I even sold to an organic Mexican restaurant. Long story short end – until today Kale Krunch is one of my favourite snacks ever and also I have tried it in several variations, the one you find here is my absolute number one.
